Payment terms

Design Incisions Media reserve the right to require a first payment or ‘deposit’ of 50% of the agreed total costs before any work will be carried out, upon signature of project contract.

For work of value less than $500 CAD Design Incisions Media reserves the right to invoice for full payment, and receive full payment of said invoice, before any work commences.

Our preferred method of payment is e-transfer. Other payment options such as secure PayPal invoice, cheque, or cash are also accepted, however may be subject to a 10% processing fee.

All outstanding balances will be due before project launch, and / or the transfer of files / products. If the project requires printing, any outstanding balances will be due before all files are printed. / products. In some cases, if the project requires printing, the final payment will be due before final products are printed.

Annual packages are available for reoccurring services like social media management, marketing growth, and website management. Annual packages will be signed and paid for at the beginning of the 12 month period, but will be subject to a discount. The client will only be charged the price of 10 months, while still receiving the whole year of service. 

General conditions regarding intellectual properties

Should the client attempt to use/modify/alter/replicate or steal any of my ideas without making agreed final payment, Nick Libertucci (Design Incisions Media) will take immediate legal counsel.

Final payment ensures that ONLY the agreed design becomes the clients property. Any previous ideas/ concepts remain the property of Nick Libertucci (Design Incisions Media), unless any prior agreement has been made.

Nick Libertucci (Design Incisions Media) reserves the right to suspend any project if a client: interferes with excessive micromanaging, demonstrates a continued lack of trust and inability to move forward after showing more than a reasonable number of unique logo ideas/concepts and/or shows reluctance in paying the final payment.

We agree to not share any personal client information including, but not limited to: passwords, emails, addresses, email lists, system secrecies, work flow strategies, customer / client information of our clients, and any other piece of intellectual property or information that would therefore break the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act of Ontario is shared.

General Conditions

All quotations are valid for a period of 10 business days only.

These Terms and Conditions supersede all previous agreements or understandings. Acceptance and or payment of a quotation, estimate or invoice constitutes agreement and full acceptance of these Terms and Conditions. The most up-to-date version of these Terms and Conditions will always be available on our website.

At Design Incisions Media, we reserve the right to terminate a project if:

• Client behaves poorly and effects the workflow
  of a project.

• Client shows a lack of focus in getting a project finished
   through no communication after 5 business days. If any of
   these circumstances arise the deposit will be non
   refundable.
